Loopy Knits Boutique

I’ve recently had the pleasure of doing business with Kelli of Loopy Knits Boutique and little did I know the luxury of hand knitted washcloths.  I’ve been using my own soap for 12 years and never even thought about handmade washcloths to go with them.  I was lucky enough that Kelli found me on Etsy and approached me about including some of my soaps as samples to go with her washcloths.

After I sent out the soaps she ordered I couldn’t get my mind from thinking “gosh I want to try some of those washcloths”  So I approached Kelli with the idea of swapping some soap for some washcloths and was very pleased she said yes.  My entire experience of working with Kelli has been wonderful, she is very communicative, understanding, easy to work with and flexible.  On top of that she is extremely talented, just take a look at her shop at Loopy Knits Boutique. 

I’ve now received my wonderful lime and raspberry cloths and am really pleased.  I had no idea how nice it could feel to use hand knitted cloths such as these.  I couldn’t help but write about it and share the experience with others.  If you love handmade soaps you should try some handmade cloths to go with them, you’ll never want to go back to terry, just like Kelli advertises.

For those of you who haven't stumbled upon Artfire I must say "you should probably check it out!!" It is a great handmade/artists/crafters venue. I've just started my shop on there at My Artfire Shop. It has lots of cool features that Etsy, MIM, Shop Handmade, DaWanda, etc don't have. So whether you are a shopper, a seller, a supporter this site has some cool things for everyone.

South End, Boston, MA - Boston Handmade announces the 2nd Annual Be Mine Valentine Show featuring hand crafted Valentines and gifts for friends, family, and lovers, to be held on Friday, February 6th, from 5-9pm at 450 Harrison Avenue. Sponsored in part by GTI Properties and the individual members of Boston Handmade, this one-night-only event coincides with the First Friday open studios and gallery receptions in the SoWa arts district of Boston's South End.

Twenty local artists, artisans and craftspeople will be exhibiting their one-of-a-kind and limited edition works at Be Mine. This special Valentine event includes live acoustic music by Peter Paulousky and new exhibitor designs created especially for the winter season and Valentine's Day!

Boston Handmade Downtown

Well I've been without a computer for a few weeks so sorry for the delay in posting this. Just got my computer back from HP a couple of days ago and been catching up with everything ever since. I've had quite a bit going on in the last couple of weeks including my latest news about Boston Handmade Downtown. This is a storefront in Downtown Boston located at 505 Washington St. near Downtown Crossing T station and a short walk from the Commons. It is a gathering of 30 local Boston Artists filling a storefront for the holiday season, all items are handmade by the artists. You can find all kinds of wonderfully unique items there.
