* 3/4 cup of almond oil
* 1/3 cup of coconut oil or cocoa butter
* 1 teaspoon lanolin
* 1/2 oz grated beeswax
* 2/3 cup rosewater
* 1/3 cup aloe vera gel
* 1 to 2 drops rose oil
* 1 vitamin E capsule
Directions
Melt almond oil, coconut oil, lanolin and beeswax over low heat. Mix well and let cool.
Mix rosewater, aloe vera gel and rose oil. Add the contents of the vitamin E capsule. Whip this mixture into the beeswax mixture until well blended. Store in a jar with a tight lid.

Ok, so is it really possible to make lotion with beeswax? Everyone I've heard from says it separates.
Yes, beeswax is a very important ingredient in so many lotions. It is what thickens it. If some one is having trouble with it separating then they have done something wrong or their recipe is off.
You come up with so many amazing ideas! So many of my friends can use this in place of store bought products.

Can I replace the beeswax with cornstarch?
Alligator skin be gone! After 20 years of trying different lotions, this is the first one to really work. Thanks for sharing the recipe!

RVirgie, I must have missed this comment from way back. Sorry about that. You can probably use cornstarch instead of beeswax but it will have a different feel and consistency. It might work though.
